From 21 to 24 May, Gi.Metal will take part in Bakery China 2024 at the National and Exhibition Convention Center in Shanghai. Bakery China is currently Asia-Pacific's leading bakery and confectionery event. For the occasion, Gi.Metal will present itself in China with The Traditional Italian Pizza Initiative collective, comprising 8 Italian businesses, of which 5 companies and 3 schools.
The aim of Gi.Metal and the project it is promoting is to bring the story of Italian pizza as a dish of excellence and cultural value to Bakery China. A truly comprehensive narration of the world's best-loved Italian speciality in all its forms, starting from the professional equipment, to the ingredients and the craftsmanship of the pizza artisans. It is in fact these aspects that enhance every single component of pizza, a dish that is as simple as it is wonderful.
During the fair, at the stand, each company in The Traditional Pizza Initiative project will have its own meeting area to meet professionals, pizza makers and buyers from the sector. In all of this, there will be an educational area where pizza chefs will give demonstrations and lessons organised by AVPN and Scuola Italiana Pizzaioli on how to make pizza and how best to use the equipment.
Gi.Metal will in fact be the spokesperson for the utensils used to prepare, bake and take pizza out of the oven: a fundamental aspect in achieving an excellent result. The public will be able to see in person and have a hands-on experience of the main lines of peels, brushes, small peels, and all other accessories designed by the company, combining technology, quality and aesthetics. Gi.Metal tools are 100% Made in Italy, and guarantee maximum impact and heat resistance, smoothness and practicality, meeting the daily needs of pizza makers.
Alongside Gi.Metal, the other partners of The Traditional Italian Pizza Initiative, both companies and training institutions, will be present. The companies involved in the collective are:
- Le 5 Stagioni with its top-quality flours
- La Valle with its super fine tomato pulps
- Gioiella with its fresh dairy products
- SudForni with its high-performance pizza ovens
The training organisations that are part of the project, among the most important in Italy, are:
- Scuola Italiana Pizzaioli
- Avpn (Association Verace Pizza Napoletana)
- Pollenzo University of Gastronomic Sciences
We look forward to seeing you at Bakery China in Hall 2.1 Stand 21F80!
